Product Compliance Manager
Job Summary
To support Square's compliance program, the full-time Product Compliance Manager will drive compliance initiatives for the Core and Audiences product suites, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, and Legal teams while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the embedded compliance advisor for product teams, providing proactive guidance on new products and features
- Lead product compliance reviews and maintain compliance risk and control inventory for designated product areas
- Support regulatory examinations and audits by coordinating responses and managing remediation of findings
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the compliance industry, particularly in payments or commerce platform compliance
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including AML/BSA and consumer protection regulations
- Experience as an embedded compliance partner in agile environments
- Proven ability to translate legal requirements into actionable compliance controls
- Experience with core compliance program activities such as risk assessments and regulatory exam support
