Product Counsel
Job Summary
Supporting a fast-paced consumer-facing product team, the full-time Product Counsel will provide strategic legal advice on new features, product launches, and complex regulatory issues while working fully remotely for an estimated six-month project starting in January.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to product and business stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters
- Identify and evaluate legal issues across privacy, consumer protection, intellectual property, and competition
- Recommend risk mitigations and defend legal recommendations to support product innovation
Required qualifications
- Experience as a product counsel or in a similar legal advisory role
- Strong understanding of privacy and consumer protection laws
- Prior experience with large technology platforms or marketplace products
- Ability to operate independently and provide real-time legal advice
- Excellent legal judgment and creative problem-solving skills
