Job Summary
Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Go-to-Market teams, the full-time remote Product Counsel will provide legal guidance on product development, AI, data privacy, and global regulatory requirements while managing legal risks and supporting the launch of innovative SaaS products.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development to go-to-market strategy
- Proactively identify and assess legal and regulatory risks associated with products and services
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements related to product development and usage
Required qualifications
- JD with admission to at least one bar
- Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience, preferably within a SaaS company's in-house legal department
- Demonstrated knowledge in AI and data privacy law and regulations
- Experience advising on AI-powered products and services
- Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and its unique legal challenges
