Product Counsel for Open Source
Job Summary
Supporting a fast-paced product legal team, the interim Product Counsel for Open Source will work remotely for 20 to 40 hours per week, focusing on product document review, open source software matters, and commercial legal escalations during a five to six-month assignment starting between mid-December and January 4.
Key responsibilities
- Review product documents and manage open source software legal matters
- Handle commercial legal escalations, RFPs, and customer questionnaires
- Assist with acquisition integration, data mapping, and new go-to-market initiatives
Required qualifications
- Strong foundation in Product Counsel with hands-on open source software experience
- Public company experience preferred
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
- Proven skills in business judgment and critical thinking
