Job Summary
Supporting both Product and Partner teams in a full-time remote capacity, the Product Counsel (State Licensed) will provide strategic legal guidance on commercial terms, regulatory compliance, and the responsible use of AI while drafting and negotiating partner agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise product management, development, and engineering teams on legal, ethical, and regulatory issues in emerging technologies
- Conduct legal analysis and monitor evolving regulations to provide actionable, solution-oriented advice
- Draft and negotiate various partner agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and legal risk management
Required Qualifications
- J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar
- 4-7 years of experience in a national law firm or in-house legal department, focusing on technology transactions
- Experience in SaaS or technology companies is required
- Technical knowledge of AI applications, data privacy, and cybersecurity standards
- Exceptional ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for business partners
