Job Summary
Guiding and mentoring a team of product designers, the full-time remote Product Design Manager will operate as a strategic partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape product strategy, advocate for user needs, and drive design-led transformation across Weave's platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead experience vision and advocacy for product areas, shaping product direction and driving design quality
- Coach designers to champion user needs and prioritize effectively, enabling them to operate upstream in the design process
- Identify and organize strategic user research initiatives that validate opportunities and inform product decisions
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of formal design management experience or 4+ years of equivalent team leadership in a complex product environment
- 5+ years of hands-on product design experience at a product-led software company
- Demonstrated track record of co-leading product strategy alongside cross-functional teams
- Mastery in driving adaptable UX strategies that translate complex data workflows into intuitive design systems
- Clear and empathetic leadership philosophy for guiding distributed design teams across time zones
