Product Designer

Job Summary

To shape how teams build together, the full-time Product Designer will lead the design of core editor experiences, collaborating closely with engineers, PMs, and researchers to turn complex ideas into intuitive user interactions, while working remotely or from one of the US hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of core editor experiences, including foundational concepts and canvas interactions, from opportunity identification through prototyping and iteration
• Define and champion a clear vision for the editor's evolution, translating it into concrete proposals and design principles with product and engineering partners
• Utilize user research and product data to ground design decisions, testing assumptions and refining the design approach based on evidence

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product design, leading complex software projects from exploration through launch
• A portfolio showcasing interaction design and visual craft, particularly in simplifying sophisticated workflows
• Ability to guide decision-making with structured thinking and user-centered research
• Experience in researching, prototyping, or building products that incorporate AI and emerging tools
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations, transforming complex systems into simple solutions
