Product Development Formulator
Job Summary
To support the development of new dietary supplements, the full-time Product Development Formulator will lead formulation design, ingredient selection, and cross-functional collaboration, working either remotely or onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new formulas and renovate existing products to support new claims and brand expansion
- Create ingredient specifications and documentation for commercialization, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate product viability and manage vendor relationships
Required qualifications
- BS in food science, chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in dietary supplements or a related field
- Knowledge of Food & Supplement regulations, including DSHEA and FD&C Act Section 21 CFR 111
- Ability to conduct feasibility assessments and troubleshoot formulation challenges
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
