Product Development Owner
Job Summary
Owning outcomes for a product area, the full-time remote Product Development Owner will manage a roadmap, eliminate manual data preparation work using AI, and guide product concepts from ideation to adoption within an agile framework.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a Now/Next/Later roadmap while defining success metrics and making trade-off decisions
- Identify and design product capabilities to automate and validate repetitive client processes, quantifying the impact of improvements
- Lead backlog management and agile ceremonies, ensuring clear communication and prioritization based on product analytics and client feedback
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of product ownership or management experience, preferably in tax and accounting software delivery
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and a proven track record of automating manual processes
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and backlog tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Linear
- Comfort working with data analytics tools, including Excel and basic SQL
