Product Documentation Manager

Job Summary

Owning the Product Documentation function, the full-time remote Product Documentation Manager will lead a team of specialists, translate business priorities into content strategies, and enhance AI-assisted documentation processes while ensuring quality and alignment with customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the success and operational health of the Product Documentation function, ensuring it meets the needs of R&D, Technical Support, and Services
• Lead and develop a team of Product Documentation Specialists, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Drive documentation standards and oversee the integration of AI-assisted tools to improve content workflows and quality

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Content Strategy, or related roles within SaaS or technology organizations
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams, with strong personal writing and editing skills
• Hands-on experience with knowledge management platforms and AI-assisted content generation tools
• Proven ability to partner with Product and Engineering teams, understanding product release cycles and documentation integration
