Job Summary
Innovating alongside top industry talent, the contract Product Engineer will coordinate vehicle launch programs, develop design solutions for evaporative emissions, and lead prototype development, with the flexibility to work either onsite or remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate all Product Engineering and Pro-Launch deliverables utilizing DFMEA, Boundary Diagrams, and DVP&R/PVP&R tools
- Develop commercially viable design solutions for new product opportunities in evaporative emissions and vapor valve vehicular applications
- Lead all phases of prototype development, including engineering analysis, design, component procurement, fabrication, assembly, and testing
Required qualifications
- Proven background in automotive product design and engineering, specifically within fuel and evaporative emission vapor valve systems
- Demonstrated experience managing vehicle launch deliverables and applying DFSS disciplines, DFMEA, and DVP&R methodologies
- Strong cross-functional communication and technical problem-solving skills
