Product Engineer for Internal Tools

Job Summary

To enhance internal operations, the full-time remote Forward Deployed Product Engineer for Internal Tools & Automation will build and automate workflows, collaborate with operators and software builders, and ensure reliable data management throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Discover and document critical workflows by collaborating directly with operational teams
• Define and automate core records, decision rules, and workflows to improve speed and accuracy
• Partner with engineers to deliver effective solutions while measuring the impact on operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• Experience managing cross-functional workflows or internal products from inception to measurable results
• Strong process-discovery skills with the ability to identify undocumented rules and ownership gaps
• Practical fluency in relational data and ability to write and review SQL for data validation
• Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and system boundaries
• Proven ability to influence technical and operational teams while maintaining ownership of business outcomes
