Job Summary

Leading the engineering teams for Keet, the full-time remote Product Engineering Lead will manage the API and frontend teams, ensuring high standards for performance and reliability while collaborating closely with product managers to translate vision into actionable features.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the API and frontend teams, facilitating progress and addressing obstacles
• Establish and maintain high engineering standards for feature design and API performance
• Collaborate with product managers to align product vision with engineering execution, ensuring feasibility and innovation

Required qualifications

• Experience managing engineering teams that deliver consumer products, preferably in chat, calling, or social applications
• Strong product sense with the ability to differentiate valuable features from unnecessary ones
• Understanding of distributed and local-first systems, with familiarity in offline-first and eventual consistency concepts
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, resilience, and openness to constructive feedback
