Product Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading the engineering teams for the Keet app, the full-time remote Product Engineering Lead will manage API and frontend development, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability while collaborating closely with product managers to translate vision into actionable features.

Key responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of the API and frontend teams, facilitating unblocking and code reviews
• Set and uphold engineering standards for performance, reliability, and API design
• Collaborate with product managers to align technical design with product vision and roadmap

Required qualifications

• Experience managing engineering teams that deliver consumer products, preferably in chat or social applications
• Strong product sense to differentiate valuable features from unnecessary ones
• Intuition for distributed and local-first systems, with familiarity in offline-first and eventual consistency concepts
• Proficiency in JavaScript and React
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and resilience in a fast-paced environment
