Job Summary
Working remotely or in NYC, the Product-Focused Data Scientist will help build LLM-powered research and analysis tools, collaborating with political strategists to enhance workflows and product decisions while ensuring rigorous evaluation of AI features.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with political strategists to identify how AI can enhance their work and translate insights into product decisions
- Design evaluations and LLM-as-judge systems to assess the accuracy and usefulness of AI-powered features
- Prototype quickly using coding agents to test concepts before committing to product development
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or applied statistician with a focus on shipping features or products
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and standard statistical/ML tooling, with experience handling real-world data
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, including designing evaluation sets and building LLM-as-judge pipelines
- Strong product instincts and a focus on user interaction with AI models through the product
- Clear communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
