Product Lead and Owner
Job Summary
Owning the path from discovery through release, the remote contract Product Lead and Owner will translate business problems into prioritized product work, manage backlogs, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of digital products.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business problems into clear product requirements, user stories, and measurable outcomes
- Manage backlog ownership, including prioritization, dependency management, and maintaining delivery-ready work
- Plan and lead user acceptance testing, manage defect triage, and secure business sign-off for product rollouts
Required qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in digital products and technical delivery
- Proven ability to create product roadmaps, release plans, and phased delivery strategies
- Strong stakeholder-management experience across various teams and external partners
- Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and wireframing or prototyping tools
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical and industry domains quickly
