Product Lead Engineer
Job Summary
Serving as the technical authority across multiple Agile scrum teams, the full-time remote Product Lead Engineer will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex features, guide teammates, and ensure high engineering standards while actively contributing production code.
Key responsibilities
- Make implementation decisions and resolve technical disagreements within development teams, ensuring consistent engineering quality
- Lead the delivery of complex features across various platforms while mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and communicate technical risks and progress effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including production SaaS environments
- Deep proficiency in PHP and JavaScript / React, including design patterns and security best practices
- Strong command of relational database design, SQL optimization, and data modeling (MySQL / MariaDB)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and upskill less experienced engineers
