Product Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Working as part of the global legal team, the full-time Product Legal Counsel will lead contract negotiations for a variety of commercial agreements in the money transfer division while providing legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex financial services agreements and licensing agreements with domestic and international partners
• Provide legal analysis and advice on compliance issues, including data privacy and vendor management, while developing relationships with internal stakeholders
• Anticipate legal risks and advise senior management on risk management strategies and operational process updates within the legal function

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor with 5 to 7 years of legal experience
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in financial services or technology sectors
• Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines
• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional legal matters
