Product Manager (Accounting SME)

Job Summary

To support the integration of accounting practices with technology solutions, the remote Product Manager (Accounting SME) will manage product strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency in government accounting systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge in accounting practices and technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and improved efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, goals, and measures of success while prioritizing project roadmaps
• Conduct research on accounting standards and regulations, and lead the development of program documentation and training content

Required qualifications

• At least three (3) years of experience as a Product Manager leading cross-functional teams
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial measurement tools and principles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with state government regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and experience with system conversions and integrations
