Job Summary
To build Kovo's next consumer financial product from the ground up, the full-time remote Product Manager - Financial Services will prototype, design, and launch new verticals while collaborating closely with founders and compliance teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prototype candidate verticals and test with real customers, providing evidence-based recommendations to founders
- Design and launch the initial version of the product, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while minimizing obligations
- Own the vertical's performance metrics, including conversion rates and retention, while managing technical integrations with partners
Required qualifications
- Experience as a founder, co-founder, or founding engineer with end-to-end product ownership
- Background in private equity, growth equity, or strategic finance, followed by an operator role in fintech
- Proven track record of taking a consumer product from zero to one, specifically in consumer fintech sectors like lending or payments
- Experience working within a bank or lending partnership program
- Bonus: Recent experience shipping production code in TypeScript, React, or similar technologies
