Product Manager, Identity

Job Summary

Owning the vision and strategy for Tailscale's Identity portfolio, the full-time remote Product Manager, Identity will manage the integration of identity protocols, enhance user authentication experiences, and oversee lifecycle management for users and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Tailscale's Identity portfolio, including SSO integrations and access controls
• Enhance the operator experience for admins by streamlining identity provider configurations and user management
• Build a best-in-class authentication experience for end-users, ensuring fast, secure, and intuitive auth flows

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years in product management with direct ownership of an identity product or platform
• Strong technical fluency in identity protocols such as OIDC, SAML, and SCIM
• Experience shipping products for developer or security-focused audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage a product area end to end, including strategy and execution
• Operational mindset with an understanding of security implications in identity products
