Job Summary
To support a U.S. Air Force program office, the full-time Product Manager II will manage strategy, planning, and execution of product development, focusing on transitioning the team to an outcome-driven model with test automation and improved delivery processes in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the engagement manager to organize deliverables, documentation, and schedules for visibility to government partners
- Maintain a prioritized backlog by writing user stories and building release plans with the team
- Lead the migration of tools and workflows from Jira and Confluence to GitLab and Mattermost
Required qualifications
- Understanding of lean product principles and application throughout the product life cycle
- Experience in developing product strategies that prioritize outcomes and establish product direction
- Ability to break down product scope into manageable chunks and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Familiarity with human-centered design processes to inform product direction
- Experience working on cross-functional teams in an agile software delivery environment
