Product Manager - Insurance Billing

Job Summary

Owning the full billing experience, the full-time remote Product Manager - Insurance Billing will manage insurance workflows, self-pay, payments, and financial tools, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the billing strategy and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and product work for billing-related features, focusing on insurance workflows and financial tools
• Conduct interviews and research to identify workflow problems and opportunities in the billing process
• Translate complex billing requirements into clear product documentation and collaborate with Engineering throughout the development process

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of product management experience, preferably in software
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with mental health insurance billing in relevant environments
• Strong knowledge of the insurance-claim lifecycle and familiarity with relevant billing codes and processes
• Ability to clearly explain complex billing concepts to non-experts
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
