Product Manager, Orchestration Platform
Job Summary
Owning the orchestration platform's strategy, the full-time Product Manager, Orchestration Platform will define its boundaries and capabilities while managing the roadmap for platform engineering, ensuring successful integration of future products in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define the orchestration platform's boundaries, guarantees, and capabilities while maintaining alignment with product goals
- Own the sequencing and core changes necessary for onboarding additional products while managing the migration of existing services
- Run the platform engineering team's roadmap, balancing reliability and investment, while tracking success metrics for the platform
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in product management with at least 3 years focused on platform, infrastructure, API, or backend products
- Strong understanding of distributed-systems concepts, including asynchronous processing and eventual consistency
- Experience in payments, remittance, banking, or transaction processing with knowledge of settlement and compliance
- Exceptional written communication skills for creating detailed specifications and contracts
- Proven ability to engage with data directly, including querying and analyzing dashboards
