Product Manager, Payments Technology
Job Summary
Driving the evolution of payments and banking technology, the full-time remote Product Manager, Payments Technology will manage product strategy, oversee complex implementation rollouts, and create developer-friendly interfaces while collaborating with banks and industry experts.
Key responsibilities
- Define technical requirements and create roadmaps by engaging with banks, processors, and customers to align business needs with product features
- Manage implementation rollouts across multiple continents to modernize banking and acquiring use cases
- Design a configurable product interface that supports payments technologists and business stakeholders, interpreting various messaging formats
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in payments technology as a software engineer, product manager, or related role
- Deep experience with banking and payments gateways, including knowledge of AS/400 servers and ISO messaging standards
- Broad proficiency across the payments ecosystem, with deep knowledge in relevant technologies such as DUKPT encryption and ISO8583 messaging
- Strong opinions on software architecture and experience advocating for operationally configurable systems
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, including writing technical documentation
