Job Summary
Owning the product backlog and ensuring delivery quality, the full-time Product Owner in Asset Management will translate strategic visions into actionable technical requirements while collaborating closely with a Product Manager and engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog by translating strategic roadmap items into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Serve as the primary contact for the engineering team, facilitating Agile ceremonies and addressing functional questions to maintain development velocity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between user stories, design specifications, and delivered functionality
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Agile Business Analyst, or Technical Product Manager in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Proficiency in writing high-quality user stories and managing backlogs using tools like Jira or Aha
- Strong ability to interpret UI/UX design prototypes and translate them into technical implementation stories
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, bridging business and technical concepts
- Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on making sound trade-off decisions in tactical situations
