Product Owner
Job Summary
Guiding product strategy into actionable tasks, the full-time remote Product Owner will manage the product backlog, lead scrum practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer and business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization of epics, features, and user stories
- Lead scrum practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives in partnership with engineering teams
- Drive defect management processes and support release planning by coordinating scope and validating completion against acceptance criteria
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis in an agile software delivery environment
- Hands-on experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Working knowledge of scrum practices and experience in sprint planning and backlog refinement
- Experience coordinating defect triage and resolution processes with engineering and QA teams
