Product Owner - API

Job Summary

To support API-enabled partner and client implementations, the full-time salaried Product Owner - API will manage backlog ownership, sprint readiness, and delivery excellence while collaborating with stakeholders to translate integration needs into scalable product capabilities, with a preferred hybrid work arrangement in Glastonbury, CT, Eatontown, NJ, or remote in the Eastern time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Manage backlog prioritization and refinement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery readiness
• Lead sprint planning and ceremonies, driving continuous improvement and maintaining clear documentation across the SDLC
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document API integration requirements and support partner onboarding processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• 3 - 7+ years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, or Systems Analysis
• Proven experience with API integrations and translating technical requirements into actionable deliverables
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and backlog management
• Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder alignment skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
