Product Owner / Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Product Owner / Business Analyst will manage product backlog, translate federal healthcare requirements into actionable items, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a product vision and roadmap aligned with federal requirements and agency objectives
- Translate federal healthcare priorities into actionable product and backlog items while ensuring compliance with interoperability standards
- Serve as the primary liaison between business owners and technical delivery teams, managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating communication
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of professional analyst experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst within Agile delivery environments
- Strong experience with SAFe/Agile methodologies, including backlog management and user story development
- Demonstrated expertise with EDI transactions and healthcare integration workflows
