Job Summary
Detail-oriented and strategic, the full-time remote Product Owner - Medical Cost Containment will manage the product backlog in JIRA, write user stories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative healthcare cost containment solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog in JIRA, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value
- Write clear user stories with measurable acceptance criteria to guide engineering and QA teams
- Lead sprint planning and related Agile ceremonies while ensuring delivered features meet operational and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications
- 3-7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in an Agile environment
- Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, including backlog management and reporting
- Demonstrated experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint execution
- Experience in healthcare technology or knowledge of medical cost containment is strongly preferred
