Product QA Specialist
Job Summary
To ensure high-quality product releases, the contract Product QA Specialist will work remotely with a focus on testing new features against customer use cases, managing test plans, and documenting bugs with precision, while maintaining a daily overlap with US Eastern time.
Key responsibilities
- Review completed development work against defined acceptance criteria and turn around tickets within one business day
- Build structured test plans that reflect real customer workflows and conduct functional, regression, and edge-case testing
- Document and report bugs clearly, verifying fixes with Engineering and ensuring issues are resolved before sign-off
Required qualifications
- Experience in QA, software testing, or a similar quality-focused role, preferably in SaaS
- Proven ability to think like a customer and test features based on actual usage scenarios
- Comfortable with manual testing of web applications; experience with scripting or automated testing is a plus
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear and actionable bug reports
- Familiarity with bug and issue tracking tools such as Jira
