Product Safety Engineer

Job Summary

Leading complex product safety investigations, the full-time salaried Product Safety Engineer will ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle in Woodinville, WA or New York City, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical resource for executing 8D methodologies and root-cause analysis in product safety investigations
• Partner with teams to maintain and execute expedited triage processes for safety escalations involving executives and members
• Engage with product development teams to identify design constraints and mitigate safety risks from concept through production

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of specialized experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, or quality engineering
• Master-level expertise in structured root-cause methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone)
• Demonstrated experience with global product certifications through third-party laboratories
• Strong proficiency in data management and analytics software (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Excel)
