Product Security Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on enhancing application security, the full-time Product Security Engineer III will design, build, and maintain security tooling and automation remotely, ensuring the protection of GitHub's products at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain security tooling, including static analysis pipelines and dependency analysis systems
- Contribute to scalable solutions that prevent recurring vulnerability patterns and improve automated security tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security risks and enhance security metrics and KPIs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in security analysis, cyber security, or related fields, or equivalent experience with relevant education
- 1+ year of experience in building security tooling in complex environments
- 3+ years of programming experience in at least two of the following languages: Ruby, Go, Python
