Product Security Engineer
Job Summary
Bringing expertise in security fundamentals, the full-time remote Product Security Engineer will focus on threat modeling and cloud security posture while collaborating with software engineers and product managers to enhance platform security.
Key responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling engagements for features and services with significant risk
- Own the triage process for CNAPP findings, investigating and prioritizing issues for resolution
- Partner with product engineering teams as a trusted reviewer, providing guidance and feedback on security practices
Required qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a security-focused role, preferably in AppSec, ProdSec, or cloud security
- Experience in leading threat modeling exercises and familiarity with structured approaches like STRIDE
- Working knowledge of cloud security posture and exposure to CNAPP tools
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals, including OWASP Top 10 and common cloud misconfigurations
- Hands-on experience applying AI tooling to security or engineering tasks
