Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing commitment to user privacy and security, the full-time Product Security Engineer will analyze vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications, collaborate with engineering teams for remediation, and integrate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze security vulnerabilities and drive remediations in collaboration with engineering teams
• Partner with stakeholders to integrate security at every stage of the SDLC, advocating for secure development practices
• Conduct secure code reviews and participate in threat modeling initiatives to proactively identify risks

Required qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in product/application security or 1-3 years in security-focused software engineering
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, secure code review, and threat modeling
• Familiarity with secure software development practices and security-focused architecture
• Experience with at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred)
• Experience assessing and improving AWS cloud posture through security controls
