Product Security Engineer
Job Summary
Risk-focused and pragmatic, the full-time remote Product Security Engineer will lead secure design efforts, conduct offensive security testing, and develop systems that prioritize security while collaborating closely with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead secure design efforts by partnering with engineering teams on design and code reviews, identifying risks early in the product lifecycle
- Conduct penetration tests and code audits from an adversarial perspective to identify vulnerabilities in products
- Develop and improve security tooling and processes, including static analysis and vulnerability management capabilities
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a security engineering or security-focused software engineering role
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities in software, demonstrated through CVEs, bug bounty, or prior work experience
- Familiarity with common industry security tooling and practices
- Strong coding skills with the ability to leverage AI in security processes
- Bonus: Experience in the authentication and identity domain
