Product Security R&D Manager

Job Summary

Leading a global team, the fully remote Sr. Product Security R&D Manager will define and implement the Product Security strategy for connected medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while managing cybersecurity and privacy initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Set the multi-year Product Security and Privacy strategy, aligning it with business priorities and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the accountable owner for cybersecurity and privacy content in product submissions, ensuring timely and complete deliverables
• Manage the vulnerability management program, making risk decisions and prioritizing remediation efforts

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience leading product security programs for medical devices or regulated connected products
• Strong knowledge of FDA cybersecurity guidance and risk assessment frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage competing priorities
