Production Support Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a talented Production Support Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage day-to-day operational support for complex application cloud systems, develop solutions for technical issues, and ensure compliance with Veterans Affairs standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of cloud systems
- Detect, isolate, and resolve system outages while documenting issues accurately
- Communicate with users and senior management regarding the status of technical problems
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud services, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
