Production Support Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in managing complex application cloud systems, the full-time remote Production Support Engineer will perform day-to-day operational support, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with security policies while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support and maintenance of cloud systems, including troubleshooting and resolving outages
- Document and report system problems, providing timely updates to users and senior management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, along with system administration tasks
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
