Production Support Engineer
Job Summary
To provide high-level operational support for complex application cloud systems, the full-time Production Support Engineer will troubleshoot system issues, develop technical solutions, and ensure compliance with security policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving outages
- Document problems and solutions accurately in logging tools and communicate status updates to users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and maintain inventory of system assets to ensure optimal performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including S3, CloudWatch, and automation tools
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, along with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
