Production Support Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in managing complex application cloud systems, the full-time Production Support Engineer will provide operational support, develop solutions for technical issues, and ensure compliance with security policies in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-level operational support of cloud systems and resolve system outages
- Document problems and maintain system assets while communicating with users and management
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies and ensure compliance with VA standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related field, particularly in production environments
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure Cloud, including S3 and CloudWatch
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
