ProFee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

Providing coding services for multiple specialties, the full-time ProFee Coding Specialist will work remotely to perform CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding, ensuring compliance and accuracy while maintaining productivity standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels and recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity
• Communicate professionally with clients to foster excellent working relationships and support company interests

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience is required
• Advanced knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Must maintain ongoing productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher
