Professional Development Contractor

Job Summary

To support nationwide delivery of high-quality, Science of Reading-aligned professional learning, the part-time independent contractor will facilitate onsite and virtual professional development sessions, lead Family Engagement Nights, and provide implementation support for educators and families.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual and in-person professional development sessions for educators and families
• Provide implementation support to ensure effective use of Just Right Reader resources in participating districts
• Communicate with district partners and represent the organization professionally during engagements

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading and coaching in educational or relationship-driven environments
• Knowledge of Science of Reading curriculum
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trust with educators and leaders
• Highly organized with the ability to establish structure and accountability in a fast-paced environment
