Professional Liability Claims Manager

Job Summary

To provide technical leadership and manage complex professional liability claims, the full-time Professional Liability Claims Manager will oversee investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and resolutions of Errors & Omissions (E&O) claims while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the handling of high-exposure professional liability claims, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with policy terms
• Lead, mentor, and develop claims professionals, conducting file reviews and establishing performance expectations
• Manage claims inventory and financial forecasting, analyzing trends to recommend process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum 10 years of commercial insurance claims experience, with at least 5 years in Professional Liability and/or E&O claims
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, litigated, and high-severity claims
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage analysis and policy interpretation
• Proven leadership experience, including supervision and mentoring of claims personnel
