Professional Mentor for Boys

Job Summary

Providing long-term mentorship to youth, the part-time Professional Mentor for Boys will teach life skills, build relationships with families, and manage documentation while working in a hybrid remote environment around Charlotte, NC.

Key responsibilities

• Teach important life skills to youth, focusing on safety, independence, and school attendance
• Provide mentorship for 8-12 youth in various settings, ensuring goal-focused documentation of interactions
• Collaborate with caregivers and partners to provide resources and referrals for families

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 year experience working with children, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong written and oral communication skills
• Valid Driver's License and ability to meet credentialing standards
• Successful completion of a drug screening test and extensive background check
