Job Summary
To support youth development, the part-time Professional Mentor for Girls will provide long-term mentorship to 8-12 male youth, teaching essential life skills and fostering relationships with caregivers while managing documentation and community engagement in a hybrid remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Teach life skills to youth, focusing on safety, independence, and school attendance
- Provide mentorship through 16 hours of engagement per month across school, home, and community settings
- Build relationships with families and partners, ensuring goal-focused documentation of activities and contacts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience working with children, or an Associate's degree with 3 years of experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong written and oral communication skills
- Valid Driver's License and ability to meet credentialing and licensing standards
- Successful completion of a drug screening test and an extensive background check
