Job Summary

Providing individualized academic support, the part-time Professional Tutor will assist students across various programs and subject areas, offering guidance on foundational concepts to advanced coursework, both in-person and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individualized tutoring sessions to support undergraduate and graduate-level coursework
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning and academic progress
• Maintain accurate scheduling and documentation of tutoring interactions in line with program guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree or current graduate student preferred
• Some experience tutoring or working one-on-one with students, preferably in a university writing center or learning center
• Expertise in tutoring and writing support/instruction
• Familiarity with best practices for writing support
• Strong scheduling and calendar management skills
