Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Program Analyst will provide analytical and operational support for fraud, waste, and abuse initiatives, including case development, risk assessments, and governance reporting, while maintaining tracking registers and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing fraud leads and cases, organizing documentation and evidence for War Room referral packages
- Prepare weekly decision packages containing analysis, recommendations, and traceability for case management
- Maintain tracking registers for overpayment recovery and support internal control assessments and quality audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in federal healthcare program integrity or fraud-related work
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with experience in preparing reports and briefings for federal clients
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to pass a Tier 2 / Moderate Background Investigation and legally work in the U.S
- Experience handling sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA and VA privacy requirements
