Program Finance Coordinator
Job Summary
Providing strategic financial oversight and donor compliance support, the full-time remote Program Finance Coordinator will act as a finance business partner to country programmes, focusing on proposal development, budgeting, and financial performance monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary finance business partner to assigned Country Offices, offering strategic financial advice throughout the programme and award cycle
- Lead the financial review and development of proposal budgets and ensure compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies
- Monitor portfolio financial performance and support audit preparation, risk mitigation, and grant close-out processes
Required qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Significant experience in programme finance and donor-funded awards within an INGO or non-profit environment
- Expertise in donor compliance and proposal budget development
- Strong understanding of major institutional donor regulations and financial requirements
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems; experience with Oracle NetSuite is desirable
