Job Summary
Supporting a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs program focused on suicide prevention and mental health, the full-time remote Program Manager will lead day-to-day operations, oversee client delivery, manage workforce activities, and drive strategic growth while supervising staff across various roles and levels.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a deputy to the Sr Program Manager, leading contract operations and client delivery
- Independently manage program activities, ensuring alignment across multiple projects and workstreams
- Supervise and develop staff, setting performance expectations and addressing any concerns directly
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, public administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in program management or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity, including direct supervision of employees
- Experience in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with tools like Jira and Azure DevOps
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
